Anna Silk
Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada is an actress most well-known for her role as Bo in the Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk was produced by Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Silk is the daughter of Peter an academic, as well as Ilkay Silk, a prominent actor, director, producer, playwright and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers her very first memory when she was at rehearsals for play with her mother. Silk played a role as a young girl in commercials. She completed her studies at St. Thomas University with the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two plays in the early years: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto to further her acting career in the month of November 1999. Later, she spent the decade that followed, she relocated in the following decade to Los Angeles California. Silk met her husband, Seth Cooperman, at an acting training located in Los Angeles in 2007. Following their engagement in 2008, the couple married in 2009. They renewed their vows on April 10th, 2011 in Fredericton in the aftermath of Silk's changed her religion to Judaism. Silk had a child named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born son on 13 May the 13th of May, 2016. Silk has a number of television roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win Gemini Awards in 2009 for her performance. In 2009 Silk was a part of the Bo Dennis in the series Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during production of the season three finale and announced this to viewers in the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 to announce that she's ready to go back to her work. On June 4, 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially declared the start of production of the fourth season. Silk's portrayal of Bo and Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers on Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite Television Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) and declared Top TV Couple of the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk is a popular show on social media.
