Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman has been a distinguished psychologist since 1993, and the Director of the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. Her name has been recognized for her pioneering work in studying child witnesses and eyewitness memories in legal settings. Professor Goodman published widely and has won several grants and has been honored with numerous international and national awards. She has worked with various government agencies and governments across the globe on policy and studies on children as victims within the legal system. She also serves as a consulting for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is also a Fellow of both the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology and Developmental Psychology Society for Children and Families Practice and Policy American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 56). Professor Goodman is also a part of Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (Founding Member) International Society for the prevention of child abuse and Neglect as well as the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She served as the President of the American Psychological Association's three divisions, Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Family and Child policy and practice.
