In 2011 Ordway's life changed after being cast as Escapee a role that led to her meeting her future husband Justin Gaston. After a year and a half, they were married. Melissa was cast as Chloe Carter in Hollywood Heights soon after. Melissa's fame exploded following the roles in Ted The League The Incredible Burton Wonderstone-Channeling and Odd Thomas. The year 2013 saw Ordway book two roles that were recurring on popular shows, Sidney Price of 90210 and Abby Newman of The Young and the Restless.
